Ingredients
Fruits
- 2 cups frozen bananas
- 2 cups frozen mango
Other Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 2 limes, juiced
Instructions
- Add ingredients to blender or processor: Place the frozen mango chunks, frozen banana pieces, maple syrup, and freshly squeezed lime juice into a high-powered blender or food processor. Pulse continuously just until the frozen fruit starts to break down. Then turn off the machine and stir the mixture with a spoon or rubber spatula to help ensure all the fruit is evenly incorporated.
- Blend until smooth: Blend the mixture continuously until it reaches a smooth, creamy consistency, similar to soft-serve ice cream. Serve immediately for the best texture, or transfer to a container and freeze if you prefer a firmer sorbet. See notes for freezing tips.
Notes
- For a firmer texture, freeze the sorbet in an airtight container for 1-2 hours before serving.
- If the sorbet becomes too hard after freezing, let it sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before scooping.
- You can substitute maple syrup with agave nectar or honey if preferred.
- This sorbet is naturally vegan and dairy-free.
