Ingredients
Salmon
- 3 Filets of Salmon, cut into 2-inch cubes
- 1/2 Cup Primal Kitchen Thick & Sticky Honey Teriyaki Sauce
Vegetables
- 4 Cups Steamed Broccoli Florets
- Thinly Sliced Green Onion for garnish
Grains and Garnish
- 4 Cups Cooked Basmati Rice (or rice of choice)
- Sesame Seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Salmon: Cut the skinless salmon filets into 2-inch pieces. Place them in a large bowl and pour the teriyaki sauce over the salmon, stirring gently until all pieces are fully coated with the sauce, allowing the flavors to marinate.
- Air Fry the Salmon: Line an air fryer tray with parchment paper or grease it lightly. Place the marinated salmon pieces in a single layer. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 7 to 8 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and slightly caramelized on the outside.
- Steam the Broccoli: Add broccoli florets to a saucepan with about 1 inch of water. Cover the pot and let it simmer until the broccoli becomes fork-tender, about 5-7 minutes, then drain excess water.
- Assemble the Bowls: Divide the cooked basmati rice evenly into four bowls. Top each bowl with steamed broccoli and air fried teriyaki salmon bites. Drizzle extra teriyaki sauce over the top and garnish with sesame seeds and thinly sliced green onions for added flavor and texture.
Notes
- Use skinless salmon filets for best results and ease when cutting into cubes.
- Ensure salmon pieces are spaced apart in the air fryer for even cooking.
- You can substitute basmati rice with jasmine rice or quinoa if preferred.
- Adjust cooking time based on the size of salmon pieces to avoid overcooking.
- Steaming broccoli preserves its nutrients and bright green color.
