Apple Cider Sangria is a crisp and fruity fall cocktail that combines apple cider, white wine, , and seasonal fruits. It’s perfect for entertaining and can be made ahead for effortless serving.
Ingredients
- 3 cups apple cider (unfiltered preferred)
- 1 bottle (750 ml)(e.g., Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)
- 1/2 cup brandy or apple
- 1–2 apples, sliced
- 1 pear, sliced
- 1 orange, sliced
- 2–3 cinnamon sticks
- 1–2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (optional, to taste)
- 1 cup club soda or sparkling water (optional, for topping)
- Ice (for serving)
Instructions
- In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine the apple cider, white wine, and brandy.
- Add sliced apples, pears, orange, and cinnamon sticks.
- Stir in maple syrup or honey if desired for additional sweetness.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably 4 hours or overnight.
- Just before serving, stir and top with club soda or sparkling water for a fizzy finish, if using.
- Serve over ice, making sure to include some fruit in each glass.
Notes
- Use unfiltered apple cider for richer flavor and body.
- Add sparkling water just before serving to maintain fizz.
- Sangria can be made up to 24 hours ahead and stored in the fridge.
- Use a dry white wine to balance the sweetness of the cider and fruit.
