Description

Apple Cider Sangria is a crisp and fruity fall cocktail that combines apple cider, white wine, , and seasonal fruits. It’s perfect for entertaining and can be made ahead for effortless serving.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups apple cider (unfiltered preferred)
  • 1 bottle (750 ml)(e.g., Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 1/2 cup brandy or apple
  • 12 apples, sliced
  • 1 pear, sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 23 cinnamon sticks
  • 12 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (optional, to taste)
  • 1 cup club soda or sparkling water (optional, for topping)
  • Ice (for serving)


Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine the apple cider, white wine, and brandy.
  2. Add sliced apples, pears, orange, and cinnamon sticks.
  3. Stir in maple syrup or honey if desired for additional sweetness.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Just before serving, stir and top with club soda or sparkling water for a fizzy finish, if using.
  6. Serve over ice, making sure to include some fruit in each glass.

Notes

  • Use unfiltered apple cider for richer flavor and body.
  • Add sparkling water just before serving to maintain fizz.
  • Sangria can be made up to 24 hours ahead and stored in the fridge.
