These Bang Bang Chicken Sliders feature crispy chicken coated in a spicy, creamy sauce, served in soft buns. They’re perfect for a party, game day, or a fun twist on traditional sliders.
Ingredients
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
1–2 tbsp sriracha sauce (depending on desired spice level)
12 slider buns
Lettuce leaves (optional, for garnish)
Pickles (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken: Slice the chicken breasts into smaller pieces that fit your slider buns. Season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Coat the chicken: Dip each piece of chicken into the buttermilk, ensuring it’s fully coated. Then dredge each piece in the flour mixture, pressing down lightly to ensure an even coat.
- Cook the chicken: Heat a large skillet or deep fryer over medium heat and fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes per side). Remove from heat and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Prepare the Bang Bang sauce: In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha sauce. Adjust the amount of sriracha based on your preferred spice level.
- Assemble the sliders: Place the cooked chicken on the slider buns. Drizzle the Bang Bang sauce over the chicken. Add lettuce and pickles if desired.
- Serve: Place the top bun on and serve immediately.
