Description

Cheesecake Deviled Strawberries are a delightful, bite-sized treat combining the classic flavor of cheesecake with the freshness of strawberries. These mini indulgences are perfect for any occasion, offering a rich and creamy texture with the sweet freshness of fruit.

Ingredients

12 large strawberries

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup whipped cream

1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

Crushed graham crackers (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly and pat them dry with a paper towel. Cut off the tops and hollow out the center using a small spoon or melon baller, leaving the outer edges intact.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped cream until well combined and fluffy. If desired, add honey or maple syrup and mix it in.
  4. Spoon or pipe the cheesecake filling into the hollowed strawberries, being generous but careful not to overfill.
  5. Top each stuffed strawberry with crushed graham crackers for that classic cheesecake crunch.
  6. Arrange the filled strawberries on a platter and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to allow them to set.

Notes

  1. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1-2 days. They are best enjoyed fresh.
  2. Do not freeze, as the strawberries will become mushy once thawed.
  3. For variation, you can add other fresh fruits like blueberries or raspberries on top.
  4. Greek yogurt can be substituted for cream cheese for a lighter filling.
