Description

These Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps offer a savory combination of tender shredded chicken, garlic-infused sauce, and melted cheese wrapped in a soft tortilla. Quick, easy, and perfect for a busy weeknight or lunch.


Ingredients

2 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheeseQ

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 large flour tortillas

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the butter and allow it to melt. Once melted, stir in the heavy cream, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  3. Add the shredded chicken to the skillet, stirring well to coat the chicken in the garlic sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the chicken is heated through.
  4. Remove the skillet from the heat and fold in the cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted and well combined.
  5. Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave for a few seconds until soft and pliable.
  6. Spoon the cheesy garlic chicken mixture onto the center of each tortilla, and fold in the sides. Roll them up tightly to secure the filling inside.
  7. Serve with a sprinkle of fresh parsley, if desired.
