Description

Cheesy Parmesan Mozzarella Bites are the perfect snack or appetizer with a crispy exterior and a gooey, melty cheese center. Made with mozzarella and Parmesan, these bites are savory and irresistible, ideal for dipping or enjoying on their own.


Ingredients

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1 large egg

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Olive oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese together.
  2. Scoop about a tablespoon of the cheese mixture and roll it into a ball. Repeat with the remaining cheese mixture.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk the egg until well beaten.
  4. Place the flour, garlic powder, and onion powder into a shallow dish.
  5. In another shallow dish, add the breadcrumbs.
  6. Take each cheese ball and roll it first in the flour mixture, then dip it into the egg, and finally coat it in the breadcrumbs.
  7. Heat a couple of tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  8. Fry the cheese balls for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  10. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
