Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 397 g can of condensed milk
- 3 Terry’s Chocolate Oranges (approximately 400g total)
Optional Toppings
- Sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Prepare ingredients: Break 2 and a half of the Chocolate Oranges (about 400g or 14oz) into small pieces, reserving half of one segment to decorate the fudge later.
- Combine and microwave: Place the condensed milk and broken chocolate orange pieces into a large glass bowl. Microwave the mixture for 30 seconds.
- Mix thoroughly: Beat the mixture vigorously until smooth. Repeat microwaving for 30 seconds followed by beating two more times, until the mixture becomes very smooth and thick.
- Transfer to tin: Pour the thickened chocolate mixture into a small tin lined with baking paper, spreading it evenly.
- Decorate: Place the reserved chocolate orange pieces on top and sprinkle with optional sprinkles for an attractive finish.
- Chill to set: Refrigerate the fudge overnight or for a minimum of 8 hours, allowing it to fully set and firm up.
- Serve and store: Cut into small pieces and keep refrigerated to maintain freshness.
Notes
- Ensure the bowl is microwave-safe to avoid damage or injury.
- The condensed milk and chocolate must be beaten well between microwaving to achieve a smooth, thickened fudge texture.
- For best flavor and texture, use Terry’s Chocolate Oranges as they have the iconic orange flavor and smooth chocolate.
- Fudge can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- Adjust sweetness by choosing milk or dark chocolate versions of the orange if available.
