This Crockpot Loaded Steak and Potato Bake combines juicy steak, tender potatoes, creamy cheese, and crispy bacon in a single pot for an easy, comforting meal.
Ingredients
1 lb steak (such as sirloin or ribeye), cut into cubes
4 large russet potatoes, peeled and diced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Grease the Crockpot with butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Layer the diced potatoes at the bottom of the Crockpot.
- Add the cubed steak on top of the potatoes.
- In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the steak and potatoes.
- Cover the Crockpot and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or until the potatoes are tender and the steak is cooked through.
- About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top, then cover and cook until the cheese is melted.
- Once done, sprinkle the crumbled bacon and chopped green onions on top before serving.
