Description

These Easy Garlic Butter Beef Cheeseburger Rollups combine all the best flavors of a classic cheeseburger into one delightful, rolled-up treat with tender beef, melty cheese, and savory garlic butter.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon mustard (optional)

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 package crescent roll dough

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through (about 7-10 minutes).
  3. Add butter to the beef and let it melt. Stir in garlic, Worcestershire sauce, mustard (if using), onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture on each triangle and top with a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Roll up each crescent roll, starting from the wider end, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

  1. Cheese options: Swap out the cheddar for mozzarella, provolone, or even Swiss cheese for a different flavor profile.
  2. Bacon: Add crumbled cooked bacon to the beef mixture for an extra layer of flavor.
  3. Vegetarian version: Use plant-based ground beef or mushrooms as a substitute for the meat for a vegetarian-friendly version of this dish.
  4. Spicy kick: Add jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the beef mixture for a spicy twist.
  5. Pickles: Top the rollups with a few pickle slices before baking for a more authentic burger taste.
