Description

These Easy Keto Biscuits are a perfect low-carb, gluten-free alternative for anyone following a ketogenic diet. Made with almond flour, cream cheese, and butter, they come together quickly and bake into fluffy, golden biscuits that are tender on the inside with a slight crisp on the outside. Ideal for breakfast or as a snack, these biscuits are grain-free and packed with rich flavors.

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup Almond flour (Finely ground)
  • 2 tsp Baking powder (Aluminum-free)
  • 1/4 tsp Sea salt (Adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder (Optional)
  • 1/8 tsp Black pepper (Optional)

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Cream cheese (Softened)
  • 2 tbsp Butter (Cold, cubed)
  • 2 large Eggs (Beaten)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s at the right temperature when your biscuits are ready to bake.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, aluminum-free baking powder, sea salt, and if using, garlic powder and black pepper. Stir well to evenly distribute all dry ingredients.
  3. Cut in Cream Cheese and Butter: Add the softened cream cheese and cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut them into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add Eggs and Form Dough: Pour the beaten eggs into the mixture and stir thoroughly until a sticky dough forms. Ensure all ingredients are well incorporated without overmixing.
  5. Shape Biscuits: With lightly floured or wet hands, form the dough into small rounds or biscuit shapes and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced evenly apart.
  6. Bake Biscuits: Bake in the preheated oven for 14–16 minutes, or until the biscuits turn golden brown on top.
  7. Cool: Allow the biscuits to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely or serve warm.

Notes

  • Use aluminum-free baking powder to avoid metallic flavors.
  • Almond flour should be finely ground for best texture.
  • Optional garlic powder and black pepper add a subtle savory twist.
  • Serve warm with butter or your favorite keto-friendly spread.
  • Store leftover biscuits in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • Reheat biscuits in a toaster oven or conventional oven for best results.
