Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 1 cup Almond flour (Finely ground)
- 2 tsp Baking powder (Aluminum-free)
- 1/4 tsp Sea salt (Adjust to taste)
- 1/4 tsp Garlic powder (Optional)
- 1/8 tsp Black pepper (Optional)
Wet Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Cream cheese (Softened)
- 2 tbsp Butter (Cold, cubed)
- 2 large Eggs (Beaten)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s at the right temperature when your biscuits are ready to bake.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, aluminum-free baking powder, sea salt, and if using, garlic powder and black pepper. Stir well to evenly distribute all dry ingredients.
- Cut in Cream Cheese and Butter: Add the softened cream cheese and cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut them into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add Eggs and Form Dough: Pour the beaten eggs into the mixture and stir thoroughly until a sticky dough forms. Ensure all ingredients are well incorporated without overmixing.
- Shape Biscuits: With lightly floured or wet hands, form the dough into small rounds or biscuit shapes and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced evenly apart.
- Bake Biscuits: Bake in the preheated oven for 14–16 minutes, or until the biscuits turn golden brown on top.
- Cool: Allow the biscuits to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely or serve warm.
