Description

These Easy Reese’s Puffs Treats are a delicious and simple no-bake snack combining buttery marshmallow, creamy peanut butter, and crunchy Reese’s Puffs cereal topped with melty chocolate chips. Perfect for a quick dessert or fun treat for kids and adults alike, they require minimal ingredients and come together in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 7 Tablespoons Butter (100g)
  • 6 Cups Miniature marshmallows (300g)
  • ½ Cup Smooth peanut butter (120g)
  • 6 Cups Reese’s Puffs cereal (240g)

Topping

  • ⅓ Cup Milk chocolate chips (55g)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×10-inch tin with baking paper to prevent sticking and make removal easier once the treats are set.
  2. Melt Ingredients: In a large saucepan over low heat, combine the butter, miniature marshmallows, and smooth peanut butter. Stir occasionally until the mixture is fully melted and smooth.
  3. Combine with Cereal: Remove the saucepan from heat and immediately pour in the Reese’s Puffs cereal. Mix well with a spatula or spoon until the cereal is evenly coated with the melted marshmallow mixture.
  4. Press Mixture: Transfer the mixture to the lined tin and press it down firmly and evenly with the back of a spatula or clean hands to compact the treats.
  5. Add Topping: Sprinkle the milk chocolate chips evenly over the top of the pressed mixture. Gently press the chocolate chips into the surface so they stick as the treats set.
  6. Cool and Set: Allow the treats to cool at room temperature for about 1 hour until firm. Once set, cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • Use low heat when melting to avoid burning the marshmallows and peanut butter.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the pan to help the treats hold together well.
  • For easier cutting, chill the treats in the refrigerator after setting at room temperature.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
