Description

Transform your ordinary ramen noodles into a flavorful, savory meal with these Easy Saucy Ramen Noodles. With a rich sauce made of soy sauce, garlic, and a touch of spice, this dish is ready in just 10 minutes. It’s the perfect comfort food for lunch, dinner, or a late-night snack, offering endless variations like adding protein, vegetables, or extra spice.

Ingredients

1 pack of instant ramen noodles (discard the seasoning packet)

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional for heat)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional for garnish)

2 green onions, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, brown sugar, minced garlic, and chili flakes (if using).

  3. Heat a small pan over medium heat and pour the sauce mixture in. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly and the garlic becomes fragrant.

  4. Add the cooked noodles to the pan with the sauce and toss to coat the noodles evenly.

  5. Transfer the noodles to serving bowls and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if desired.

Notes

  1. Storage: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days.
  2. Reheating: Microwave with a splash of water or reheat in a pan with a little soy sauce to loosen up the sauce.
  3. Variations: Add protein (chicken, beef, shrimp, or tofu) or vegetables (spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers) for a heartier meal. For extra spice, increase chili flakes or add sriracha.
