Description

This Fudge Brownie Bread is the perfect combination of rich, chocolatey brownies and soft, delicious bread. The texture is moist and indulgent, with a perfect balance of fudgy flavor in every bite. Ideal for those who crave something between a decadent dessert and a comforting baked treat, this bread is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

2 large eggs

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the sugar, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Pour in the milk and stir until fully incorporated. If you’re adding chocolate chips, fold them into the batter now.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  1. Add nuts: Add 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans to the batter for a crunchy twist.
  2. Swirl in peanut butter: For a rich, savory flavor, swirl in some peanut butter before baking.
  3. Chocolate ganache topping: Once the bread has cooled, drizzle it with a simple chocolate ganache for an extra indulgent treat.
  4. Use dark chocolate chips: For a more intense chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate chips or chunks instead of milk chocolate.
  5. Storage: Store any leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days.
  6. Reheating: To reheat, wrap slices in foil and place in a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C) for 10-15 minutes, or until warmed through. You can also microwave individual slices for about 20-30 seconds.
