Description

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup cream cheese

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup fresh spinach (optional)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

1 tablespoon butter (for grilling)


Instructions

  1. Begin by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and dried oregano.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the pan and set aside to rest for a few minutes. Once rested, slice the chicken into thin strips.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the mozzarella and cream cheese. You can also mix in grated Parmesan for an extra cheesy flavor.
  4. Lay the flour tortillas flat and spread the cheese mixture evenly on each one.
  5. Add the sliced chicken on top of the cheese mixture, and optionally, add fresh spinach for extra crunch and flavor.
  6. Roll up the wraps tightly, ensuring the filling stays inside.
  7. In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat. Place the wraps in the pan, seam side down, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy. Flip carefully to avoid the filling spilling out.
