Description

Honey Lemon Pepper Wings combine the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and tangy flavors, creating a mouthwatering appetizer or main dish that will surely impress anyone who tries them.

Ingredients

12 chicken wings

2 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

3 tbsp honey

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp lemon zest

1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning

Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  3. Drizzle the wings with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake the wings for 30-35 minutes, flipping them halfway through to ensure they cook evenly.
  5. While the wings bake, prepare the glaze by mixing honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, and lemon pepper seasoning in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir frequently until the glaze is smooth and slightly thickened (about 3-4 minutes).
  6. Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl.
  7. Pour the honey lemon glaze over the wings and toss to coat them evenly.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

  1. If you want to add spiciness, incorporate cayenne pepper or hot sauce to the glaze.
  2. To make crispy wings, dry them before seasoning and bake on a wire rack.
  3. For air fryer: Cook at 375°F for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  5. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes for best texture.
