Ingredients
12 chicken wings
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Drizzle the wings with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake the wings for 30-35 minutes, flipping them halfway through to ensure they cook evenly.
- While the wings bake, prepare the glaze by mixing honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, and lemon pepper seasoning in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir frequently until the glaze is smooth and slightly thickened (about 3-4 minutes).
- Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl.
- Pour the honey lemon glaze over the wings and toss to coat them evenly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
- If you want to add spiciness, incorporate cayenne pepper or hot sauce to the glaze.
- To make crispy wings, dry them before seasoning and bake on a wire rack.
- For air fryer: Cook at 375°F for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes for best texture.
