Description

This easy-to-make Ice Cream Pie is a delicious no-bake dessert featuring a crisp graham cracker crust layered with creamy vanilla ice cream, drizzled with luscious hot fudge and caramel sauces, and topped with crunchy Heath toffee bits. Perfect for any occasion, it requires minimal prep time and is sure to delight ice cream lovers.

Ingredients

Crust

  • 1 graham cracker pie crust (homemade or purchased)

Filling and Toppings

  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened for about 10 – 15 minutes
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge (homemade or purchased)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (homemade or purchased)
  • 1/2 cup Heath toffee bits

Instructions

  1. Spread Ice Cream: Using a rubber spatula, spread half of the softened vanilla ice cream evenly over the graham cracker pie crust, creating a smooth layer.
  2. Drizzle Toppings: Drizzle half of the caramel sauce and hot fudge over the ice cream layer. Then sprinkle half of the Heath toffee bits evenly on top. Next, add the remaining ice cream by dolloping it over the layer and gently pressing it to cover the toppings, as it’s more firm to spread. Freeze the pie for 5 to 10 minutes to firm it up slightly.
  3. Final Toppings and Freeze: After chilling, drizzle the remaining caramel sauce and hot fudge over the top layer of ice cream. Sprinkle on the remaining Heath toffee bits. Return the pie to the freezer and freeze for at least 2 hours to set fully before serving.

Notes

  • Soften the ice cream for easier spreading by letting it sit at room temperature for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Use a rubber spatula for smooth spreading without tearing the crust.
  • Make sure to freeze the pie long enough to harden so it slices cleanly.
  • Heath toffee bits add a delicious crunch, but you can substitute with chopped nuts or chocolate chips if preferred.
  • This dessert should be stored in the freezer and served cold.
