Description

A refreshing and antioxidant-rich smoothie made with blueberries, lemon juice, and creamy yogurt. Bright, tangy, and naturally sweet, it’s a quick and nourishing drink for breakfast, snacks, or post-workout fuel.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (or any plain yogurt)
  • 12 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • Ice cubes (optional, for thickness)

Instructions

  1. Add frozen blueberries, lemon juice, Greek yogurt, and almond milk to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down sides if needed.
  3. Taste and sweeten with honey or maple syrup if desired.
  4. Add lemon zest and a few ice cubes for extra brightness and thickness.
  5. Blend again until fully combined.
  6. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Frozen blueberries make the smoothie thicker and chill it naturally.
  • Fresh lemon juice gives the best flavor, but bottled works in a pinch.
  • For a vegan version, use dairy-free yogurt and maple syrup.
