Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (or any plain yogurt)
- 1–2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- Ice cubes (optional, for thickness)
Instructions
- Add frozen blueberries, lemon juice, Greek yogurt, and almond milk to a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down sides if needed.
- Taste and sweeten with honey or maple syrup if desired.
- Add lemon zest and a few ice cubes for extra brightness and thickness.
- Blend again until fully combined.
- Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
- Frozen blueberries make the smoothie thicker and chill it naturally.
- Fresh lemon juice gives the best flavor, but bottled works in a pinch.
- For a vegan version, use dairy-free yogurt and maple syrup.
