Description
These Milky Way Caramel Cheesecake Brownies are the ultimate dessert combining a rich brownie base, smooth cheesecake layer, gooey caramel, and Milky Way candy bars for a decadent treat.
Ingredients
1 box of brownie mix (plus ingredients called for on the box)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 Milky Way candy bars, chopped
1/2 cup caramel sauce
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 baking pan by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it lightly.
- Prepare the brownie mix according to the instructions on the box and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- In a separate bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
- In another bowl, mix together the sour cream and flour. Stir this into the cream cheese mixture until everything is combined.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture on top of the brownie batter, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the chopped Milky Way candy bars over the cheesecake layer.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the brownies and cheesecake layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares.
Notes
- For a twist, substitute Milky Way with Snickers, Twix, or another candy bar of your choice.
- Add chopped pecans or walnuts for a crunchy texture.
- To make gluten-free, swap out the brownie mix for a gluten-free version.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
- Reheat individual pieces in the microwave for 15-20 seconds or in the oven at 300°F (150°C) for 10 minutes.
