Description

These Milky Way Caramel Cheesecake Brownies are the ultimate dessert combining a rich brownie base, smooth cheesecake layer, gooey caramel, and Milky Way candy bars for a decadent treat.

Ingredients

1 box of brownie mix (plus ingredients called for on the box)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

6 Milky Way candy bars, chopped

1/2 cup caramel sauce

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 baking pan by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it lightly.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to the instructions on the box and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
  4. In another bowl, mix together the sour cream and flour. Stir this into the cream cheese mixture until everything is combined.
  5. Pour the cheesecake mixture on top of the brownie batter, spreading it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped Milky Way candy bars over the cheesecake layer.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the brownies and cheesecake layer.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares.

Notes

  1. For a twist, substitute Milky Way with Snickers, Twix, or another candy bar of your choice.
  2. Add chopped pecans or walnuts for a crunchy texture.
  3. To make gluten-free, swap out the brownie mix for a gluten-free version.
  4. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
  5. Reheat individual pieces in the microwave for 15-20 seconds or in the oven at 300°F (150°C) for 10 minutes.
