Description

Deliciously rich Nutty Condensed Milk Brownies that combine the creamy sweetness of condensed milk and the deep flavor of cocoa with crunchy pecans for an irresistible treat. Perfectly moist and fudgy, these brownies are easy to prepare on the stovetop and baked to perfection.

Ingredients

Wet Ingredients

  • ¾ cup butter
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • ½ cup sugar
  • ⅔ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Add-ins

  • 1 cup chopped pecans (divided into ½ cup and ½ cup)
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350ºF to ensure it’s at the perfect temperature for baking the brownies evenly.
  2. Prepare Baking Dish: Line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper to prevent the brownies from sticking and to make cleanup easier.
  3. Melt Butter: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter gently, stirring occasionally until fully liquefied.
  4. Add Sugar: Once the butter is melted, add the sugar and whisk together to combine and dissolve some of the sugar.
  5. Incorporate Condensed Milk and Chocolate Chips: Add the sweetened condensed milk and milk chocolate chips to the saucepan. Whisk continuously until the mixture is smooth and the chocolate chips are fully melted.
  6. Add Eggs and Vanilla: Remove the pan from heat. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking swiftly to integrate them without cooking the eggs.
  7. Add Dry Ingredients: Gradually whisk in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt until the batter is smooth with no lumps.
  8. Mix in Pecans: Stir in ½ cup of chopped pecans to add a crunchy texture throughout the batter.
  9. Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  10. Top with Pecans: Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup pecans evenly over the top of the batter for added nutty flavor and crunch.
  11. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with just a few moist crumbs attached.
  12. Cool and Serve: Remove the brownies from the oven and allow them to cool completely in the pan before cutting into 9 squares and serving.

Notes

  • Be careful not to overbake to keep the brownies fudgy and moist.
  • Use parchment paper for easy removal and clean-up.
  • Chilling the brownies before cutting can make slicing neater.
  • You can substitute pecans with walnuts or almonds if desired.
  • Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate to extend freshness.
