Description

The Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini is a cozy, caffeinated twist on the classic cocktail, blending vodka, espresso, and pumpkin spice syrup into a rich, seasonal drink perfect for fall evenings or festive gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz vodka (plain or vanilla)
  • 1 oz freshly brewed espresso (or strong coffee, cooled)
  • 0.75 oz coffee liqueur (like Kahlúa)
  • 0.5 oz pumpkin spice syrup (or 1 tbsp pumpkin purée + 0.5 oz maple syrup)
  • Ice
  • Ground pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Brew a fresh shot of espresso and let it cool slightly.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, and pumpkin spice syrup (or pumpkin purée and maple syrup).
  3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until chilled and frothy.
  4. Strain into a chilled martini or coupe glass.
  5. Garnish with a light dusting of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Shake well to achieve the signature espresso martini froth.
  • Use a mason jar with a tight lid if you don’t have a cocktail shaker.
  • Homemade pumpkin spice syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 week.
  • Use vanilla vodka for a dessert-like twist.
