Description

A deliciously creamy and sweet Strawberry Shortcake Martini that blends fresh strawberry puree with whipped cream vodka and strawberries and cream liqueur, perfect for a quick and elegant two-serving cocktail.

Ingredients

Strawberry Puree

  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries (hulled)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Cocktail

  • 4 ounces whipped cream vodka (or vanilla vodka)
  • 4 ounces Strawberries and Cream liqueur (such as Bailey’s)
  • 4 ounces strawberry puree (from above)
  • Ice (as needed)
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Make the strawberry puree: In a blender or food processor, combine the hulled fresh strawberries and granulated sugar. Blend until smooth, then strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds, creating about 1/2 cup of smooth strawberry puree suitable for two servings.
  2. Prepare the cocktail: In a cocktail shaker, add the whipped cream vodka, strawberries and cream liqueur, and 2 ounces of the prepared strawberry puree. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds to thoroughly chill and mix the ingredients.
  3. Serve: Strain the chilled cocktail mixture evenly into two pre-chilled martini glasses. Garnish each glass with a fresh strawberry on the rim if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can substitute the whipped cream vodka with vanilla vodka if preferred.
  • Use your favorite strawberries and cream liqueur; Bailey’s Strawberries and Cream is a great choice.
  • Straining the strawberry puree ensures a smooth, seed-free cocktail.
  • Chill your martini glasses ahead of time for an extra refreshing presentation.
