Ingredients
1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
2 tablespoons sugar (or to taste)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 cups sparkling water or club soda
Ice cubes
Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender or food processor, combine the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the strawberry puree through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove any seeds and pulp.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes, then pour the strawberry mixture evenly into each glass.
- Top each glass with sparkling water or club soda. Stir gently to combine.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves, if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra fizz, opt for a highly carbonated sparkling water or soda.
- Can substitute with a sweetener like honey, agave, or a sugar alternative if preferred.
- This drink is kid-friendly and caffeine-free.
- Leftover strawberry puree can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, but mixed soda should be consumed immediately for best fizz.
