Description

A refreshing and delightful beverage, strawberry soda combines the natural sweetness of strawberries with the effervescent fizz of soda. Perfect for hot days or special occasions.

Ingredients

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

2 tablespoons sugar (or to taste)

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

2 cups sparkling water or club soda

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the strawberry puree through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove any seeds and pulp.
  3. Fill glasses with ice cubes, then pour the strawberry mixture evenly into each glass.
  4. Top each glass with sparkling water or club soda. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves, if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

  1. For extra fizz, opt for a highly carbonated sparkling water or soda.
  2. Can substitute with a sweetener like honey, agave, or a sugar alternative if preferred.
  3. This drink is kid-friendly and caffeine-free.
  4. Leftover strawberry puree can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, but mixed soda should be consumed immediately for best fizz.
