Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup water

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp granulated sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)

1 tsp cinnamon (for coating)


Instructions

  • In a medium-sized saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Heat over medium until the butter melts and the mixture comes to a boil.

  • Reduce heat to low and stir in flour until a dough forms and pulls away from the sides.

  • Remove from heat and allow the dough to cool slightly. Stir in vanilla extract and cinnamon.

  • Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).

  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place in the air fryer basket, ensuring they’re not overcrowded.

  • Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.

  • Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl. Toss the churro bites in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
