Ingredients
- 1 ball whole wheat pizza dough
- 2 apples (Honeycrisp or Gala), thinly sliced

- ¼ cup crumbled goat cheese or feta (optional)
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or rosemary

- Arugula, for topping (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it heats.
- Roll out the whole wheat dough on a floured surface to desired thickness. Transfer to a baking sheet or pizza peel.
- Brush the dough lightly with olive oil.
- Toss sliced apples with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Sprinkle mozzarella or Fontina cheese over the dough.
- Arrange the apple slices and red onion evenly on top.
