Ingredients
Biscuit Dough
- 1 refrigerated package of biscuit dough
Filling
- 14 oz chocolate pudding
- 1 pint strawberries, sliced
- 2 cups whipped cream
Topping
- 1/2 cup M&M candies
Instructions
- Soak Sticks: Pre-soak your large sticks in water for 20 minutes to prevent them from burning when over the fire.
- Prepare Dough: Open and unroll the biscuit dough. Stretch out and flatten each biscuit round in your hand to about 1/4-inch thickness, ensuring even cooking.
- Wrap Dough on Stick: Stretch one flattened biscuit dough over one soaked stick, smoothing out any creases so the dough is wrapped evenly.
- Cook Over Flames: Hold the dough-covered stick over the campfire flames, rotating continuously to cook the dough evenly until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-10 minutes.
- Remove Shell: Carefully slide the cooked biscuit shell off the stick without tearing it.
- Repeat Cooking: Repeat the wrapping and cooking process with the remaining biscuit dough rounds on sticks.
- Fill with Pudding and Strawberries: Divide the chocolate pudding evenly and spoon inside each biscuit shell. Add sliced strawberries to fill the éclairs.
- Top with Whipped Cream and M&Ms: Add a generous dollop of whipped cream on top of each filled éclair and sprinkle with M&M candies for a colorful, crunchy finish.
Notes
- Soaking the sticks is essential to prevent them from catching fire while roasting the dough.
- Make sure to rotate the sticks continuously for even browning and avoid burning.
- You can substitute chocolate pudding with any other preferred filling, such as vanilla or caramel pudding.
- Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor; you can also add other berries or fruits if desired.
- For a dairy-free version, use dairy-free whipped cream and pudding alternatives.
