Description

This Ninja Creami High-Protein Vanilla Ice Cream recipe offers a creamy, protein-packed treat that’s perfect for a healthy dessert or snack. Made with whole milk, cream cheese, and vanilla protein powder, it’s a delicious way to satisfy your sweet cravings while boosting your protein intake. The ice cream is prepared using the Ninja Creami machine, ensuring a smooth, rich texture with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Ice Cream Base

  • 1 cup whole milk (1 percent milk may be used as a lighter option)
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese (regular or light)
  • 4 tablespoons vanilla protein powder (1 serving, use the scoop provided in the protein container)
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sweetener (powdered sugar, powdered erythritol, monk fruit, or allulose)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Blend Ingredients: Add the whole milk, cream cheese, vanilla protein powder, powdered sweetener, vanilla extract, and salt to a blender. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and the cream cheese is fully dissolved to create a uniform ice cream base.
  2. Freeze Mixture: Pour the blended mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container. Secure the lid firmly and place the container on a flat surface in the freezer. Freeze for 24 hours or until the mixture is fully solidified to prepare it for the Creami process.
  3. Process in Ninja Creami: Remove the lid from the frozen pint and place it into the Ninja Creami machine. Select and run the Lite Ice Cream cycle to churn the mixture into ice cream.
  4. Adjust Texture If Needed: If the ice cream appears crumbly or dry after the first cycle, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk to the center of the pint and run the Mix-In cycle until the ice cream becomes creamy and smooth.
  5. Serve: Scoop the freshly processed ice cream and serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

  • You can substitute 1 percent milk with skim or plant-based milk, but this may slightly change texture and creaminess.
  • Choose your preferred powdered sweetener based on dietary needs or taste preferences, including sugar alternatives for low-carb options.
  • Make sure the ice cream base is fully frozen for 24 hours to ensure proper churning in the Ninja Creami machine.
  • If you don’t have a Ninja Creami machine, this recipe is not suitable for conventional blenders or ice cream makers as it relies on specific processing cycles.
  • Add-ins like chocolate chips, nuts, or fruit can be mixed in during the Mix-In cycle for added flavor and texture.
