Ingredients

Base Mixture

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, unsweetened


Instructions

  1. Beat the Cream Cheese: In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to beat the softened cream cheese until it becomes light and fluffy, ensuring a smooth texture as the base for your mousse.
  2. Add Nutella and Vanilla: Add Nutella and vanilla extract to the cream cheese and continue beating until all the ingredients are smooth and fully blended together, creating a rich and creamy mixture.
  3. Whip the Cream: In a separate smaller bowl, whip the heavy cream with a hand mixer on low-medium speed until soft peaks form. Then add granulated sugar and cocoa powder, increase the mixer speed to high, and whip until stiff peaks are achieved for a light and airy texture.
  4. Fold Mixtures: Gently fold the whipped cream mixture into the Nutella and cream cheese mixture until combined with no visible streaks, maintaining the mousse’s airy consistency.
