- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
Instructions
- Beat the cream cheese, peanut butter and sugar: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until fluffy using an electric mixer. Add the confectioners’ sugar and peanut butter, then continue beating until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Add the milk: Gradually pour in the whole milk while beating the mixture to ensure it becomes creamy and light without lumps.
- Fold in the whipped topping: Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the peanut butter mixture using a spatula. Keep folding until fully incorporated, maintaining the fluffy texture.
- Spoon the filling into the crust: Evenly spread the creamy peanut butter filling into the prepared 9-inch graham cracker crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Chill in refrigerator overnight: Cover the pie with plastic wrap or a pie tent and refrigerate overnight to allow the filling to set and flavors to meld.
- Slice and serve: Before serving, sprinkle the chopped peanuts evenly over the top of the chilled pie. Slice into 8 portions and optionally garnish with chocolate drizzle, caramel sauce, whipped cream, or cherries as desired.
