Description

S’mores Martinis offer a playful twist on a classic campfire treat, combining marshmallow-infused vodka with creamy milk, cocoa, and crème de cocoa. Complete with graham cracker rims and toasted marshmallow garnish, these dessert cocktails are perfect for a fun and indulgent happy hour.

Ingredients

Marshmallow-Infused Vodka (Makes 6 servings)

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 ½ cups vodka

Smores Martinis (Serves 2)

  • 4 oz. milk (non-dairy milk also works)
  • 1 ½ teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 2 oz. Marshmallow-Infused Vodka
  • 1 ½ oz. white crème de cocoa
  • Graham cracker crumbs for the rims of the glasses
  • Lemon wedge
  • Additional marshmallows on a skewer, toasted

Instructions

  1. Infuse the Vodka: Measure 1 cup of mini marshmallows into a large mason jar. Pour 1 ½ cups of vodka over the marshmallows and shake vigorously to mix. Store the jar in a cold, dark place for 1-2 days until the marshmallows have dissolved, shaking occasionally to redistribute any sediment.
  2. Prepare Glasses: Run a lemon wedge along the rims of two martini glasses, then dip the rims into graham cracker crumbs to coat evenly. Set the glasses aside.
  3. Mix the Cocoa Milk: In a cocktail shaker, combine 4 oz. of lukewarm milk, 1 ½ teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder, and 1 ½ teaspoons granulated sugar. Shake vigorously until the sugar and cocoa are fully dissolved.
  4. Add Spirits and Ice: Pour 2 oz. of the marshmallow-infused vodka and 1 ½ oz. white crème de cocoa into the shaker with the cocoa milk mixture. Add ice and shake vigorously until well chilled and combined.
  5. Serve the Martinis: Strain the cocktail into the prepared martini glasses.
  6. Garnish: Skewer 3-4 marshmallows and toast them with a kitchen torch until golden brown. Garnish each martini with the toasted marshmallows and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Total time includes the vodka infusion, which can vary between 1-2 days depending on conditions.
  • If short on time, marshmallow-flavored vodka can be purchased at specialty liquor stores as a shortcut.
