Ingredients
Marshmallow-Infused Vodka (Makes 6 servings)
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 ½ cups vodka
Smores Martinis (Serves 2)
- 4 oz. milk (non-dairy milk also works)
- 1 ½ teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons granulated sugar
- 2 oz. Marshmallow-Infused Vodka
- 1 ½ oz. white crème de cocoa
- Graham cracker crumbs for the rims of the glasses
- Lemon wedge
- Additional marshmallows on a skewer, toasted
Instructions
- Infuse the Vodka: Measure 1 cup of mini marshmallows into a large mason jar. Pour 1 ½ cups of vodka over the marshmallows and shake vigorously to mix. Store the jar in a cold, dark place for 1-2 days until the marshmallows have dissolved, shaking occasionally to redistribute any sediment.
- Prepare Glasses: Run a lemon wedge along the rims of two martini glasses, then dip the rims into graham cracker crumbs to coat evenly. Set the glasses aside.
- Mix the Cocoa Milk: In a cocktail shaker, combine 4 oz. of lukewarm milk, 1 ½ teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder, and 1 ½ teaspoons granulated sugar. Shake vigorously until the sugar and cocoa are fully dissolved.
- Add Spirits and Ice: Pour 2 oz. of the marshmallow-infused vodka and 1 ½ oz. white crème de cocoa into the shaker with the cocoa milk mixture. Add ice and shake vigorously until well chilled and combined.
- Serve the Martinis: Strain the cocktail into the prepared martini glasses.
- Garnish: Skewer 3-4 marshmallows and toast them with a kitchen torch until golden brown. Garnish each martini with the toasted marshmallows and serve immediately.
